Run for Hope - Bangor, ME - September 13, 2009

- - The 2009 Run for Hope will be held on September 13th - -

The race will be held at 11:30 am at the Best Western White House Inn, I-95, Exit 180 (behind Dysart’s Restaurant).

The event will be sponsored by the Best Western White House Inn and a variety of
supporters and sponsors.

runner There will be age group awards and drawings for lots of door prizes. Families are welcome.

Age group divisions with awards for men and women:

10 years and under; 11-14; 15-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 years and above.
First male and female finishers in each age group.
Youngest and oldest finisher.
We offer ribbons and/or trophies for the top 7 finishers in the 10-years-and-under division.

Cost for registration is $15 per individual pre-registration and $20 the day of the race. Entry fee for family is $35. 300 T-shirts are available for $5 – first-come-first-serve.

All proceeds benefitted cancer prevention studies and clinical trials (breast, prostate, lung, colon, and other cancers) at Eastern Maine Medical Center. Every dollar that is raised will stay right here in our community – helping neighbors and friends.We will also donate a portion of the proceeds to The Maine Institute for Genetics and Health, which is a local organization focusing on cancer research.
